An integrated project implemented by CBOSS for an Operator, a growing telecommunication company in Africa, will enable the Operator to raise its revenue. New services deployed within the project are to enhance the payment collection system and to increase traffic.

Another More Than Half a Million Subscribers of NCC Migrate to CBOSS Convergent Billing and Customer Care System
Within a successful project for CJSC Nizhegorodskaya Cellular Communications (NCC) which is a subsidiary company of OJSC Rostelecom, CBOSS carried out the migration of subscriber bases of two of NCC branches to CBOSS billing and customer care system in a short period of time. For more than half a million subscribers of Orenburg and Ulyanovsk branches, customer care now will be provided by the CBOSSconvergence system. That enabled unification of business processes, rate plans, customer care and settlement technologies for all subscribers.
At the beginning of March, residents of Taganrog children’s home #5 celebrated two Russian public holidays – the Defender of the Fatherland Day and International Women’s Day. These are popular Russian holidays which are celebrated as Men’s Day and Women’s Day. The children’s home organized a performance starring the residents who recited poetry, danced, and sang. The event culminated in giving each child a present from CBOSS.
CBOSS introduces CBOSSsoapAPI, a new product enabling integration of CBOSS solutions into third-party systems through the universal Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP). The functionality is supported for CBOSS solutions having CBOSSkernel-based DB as their component. The new product provides for correct interaction and data synchronization between the CBOSS solutions and third-party software, thus allowing telecom companies to create a single information space.

CBOSS took part as a sponsor in the solemn ceremony COMNEWS AWARDS held in Moscow’s Grand Marriott Hotel, on November 29, 2012. ComNews presented awards to more than twenty leading Russian ICT companies including such well-known companies as Rostelecom, Tele2 Russia, Russian Post, MGTS, and others.
CBOSS continues its charitable activities. This time, CBOSS has provided assistance to Taganrog School #1 where children with disabilities study. The school received a new vinyl window as a gift that made a classroom comfortable to deliver classes. The school students also got a nice present from CBOSS.
CBOSS carried out a project for a complete upgrade of the hardware/software platform of the CBOSSmdDrive and CBOSSmdCDR mediation systems used by the satellite network operator GlobalTel.
In early February 2013, mobile operator AKOS (a subsidiary of Rostelecom OJSC), providing services in the Maritime Territory, began commercial operation of its UMTS-based 3G network. The first phases of a large-scale project for AKOS’ migration to the new telecommunication standard were implemented in cooperation with CBOSS.
